Peter Bufano, DC, is the Director of Rehabilitation and co-founder of NJ Spine and Wellness, serving patients at their office in Matawan, New Jersey. Dr. Bufano is a board-certified chiropractor who specializes in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatments. 

Dr. Bufano graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, in 1994, where he received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. In 1998, he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. He is also a graduate of the Spine Research Institute in San Diego, where he studied whiplash and traumatic brain injuries, and attended Neumann College in Pennsylvania, where he earned his certification in neurodiagnostic electrophysiological evaluations. Dr. Bufano also received his certification in sports medicine from New York Chiropractic College in Long Island.

Dr. Bufano continues to study and focus on conditions and treatments related to sports medicine, whiplash, mild traumatic brain injuries, and neurology. He is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.

In his spare time, Dr. Bufano enjoys giving back to his community. He also enjoys running, strength training, and going on vacations with his wife and three children. Dr. Bufano and his son are avid Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees fans.
