Deryn is a South Jersey native, where she grew up in Mount Laurel, NJ before making the move to Wall Township where she currently resides. She attended Lenape High School and participated in cheerleading and lacrosse. Deryn also competed competitively with World Cup Allstars for 2 years. Her interest in athletic training began to develop as she visited the athletic training room often to rehabilitate and prevent athletic injuries. Deryn continued her education at The Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at PSU, she had the opportunity to work with the school’s football, women’s volleyball, track and field, and field hockey teams. She also spent a semester working outreach at a local high school in the area. Deryn’s passion to help others has led her to NJ Spine and Wellness where she hopes to develop her rehabilitation skills and make a difference in her patient’s lives.
