About Aimee Gonzalez, LAc, MSTOM, Dipl. Ac

Aimee Gonzalez, LAc, MSTOM, Dipl. Ac, is the Director of Acupuncture at NJ Spine and Wellness in Matawan, New Jersey. She is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist who is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. 

Aimee obtained her Bachelor of Arts in natural science and mathematics from Thomas Edison State University. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Growing up working for her family’s manufacturing businesses in the Garment District, she knew that her calling lay elsewhere. Aimee became interested in Chinese medicine when she saw the profound impact acupuncture had on her parent’s health. With encouragement and support from family and friends, she changed career paths and began to pursue her interest in the healing arts.

Aimee believes in promoting the body’s own ability to heal and tailors her treatments to meet individual needs. She is grateful to all those who have allowed her to assist them on their journey to good health, healing, and happiness.

Aimee is married to her husband of 25 years and has two teenage children. When Aimee is not practicing, she loves to listen to music, read books, and spend time with family and friends.
