Natalie Spissell is a South Jersey native from National Park New Jersey, located next to Philadelphia. She attended Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury Heights which is where she developed a passion for athletic training and sports medicine. Natalie continued her education at Rowan University where she majored in Athletic Training from 2013-17, graduating with honors. At Rowan University she had residencies at Williamstown High School, Rowan Softball, Vineland High School and Rowan Women’s Lacrosse. Also, during her time at Rowan University Natalie was involved with the National Athletic Training Association representing District 2 serving as a Student Leadership Representative from 2015-2017. After graduation, Natalie worked in Philadelphia for a year working with patients in pain management suffering from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. During this time Natalie studied and took the Orthopedic Technician Certification exam and passed. Natalie currently serves at Co-chair for Athletic Trainers Society of New Jersey Student Committee as a mentor for current students.
