Dr. Karina was born in Ukraine, and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She is fluent in Russian. Growing up, Dr. Karina spent most of her time juggling school life, being an aide for a busy physical therapy practice, and dancing latin/ballroom dance competitively all throughout high school. She went on to receive her Undergraduate degree in Biology from Kean University in 2013. She then graduated from Long Island University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016.
Dr. Karina was actively involved in the Physical Therapy club in undergrad and graduate school. Dr. Karina believes in the “whole body” approach when it comes to treating her patients. She is interested in continuing her education with courses in Mulligan’s Mobilization with Movement, and SFMA. On her free time, Dr. Karina loves to spend quality time with her family, friends, husband, and her son.
